Course Packet:
The course packet for this class is a compilation of eclectic readings. The same themes permeate each of these:
- The value of play
- The methods for creating engaging play
They are informed by academic study in psychology, sociology, and education. They are also tested and critiqued by the games industry, business, and artists.
The readings must be completed by the start of that week’s class (i.e. Fun, Play and Games should be completed by 8/31). Readings inform in class discussion.
To view the course packet, you must have the all-class user ID and password. This user ID is supplied to all students in class. It is not the same as your MU-user Id and password. If you have forgotten it, you can email your instructor, Lindsay Grace, from your Miami University supplied email account.
