History of Games
Please watch this early computer game history provided by the Discovery channel. It’s a fairly succinct and accessible history. It also reaches beyond American history.

The history is a good place to investigate a few design trends that continue to permeate the culture of game design. We will continue our review of the history by covering history post NES. The history extends into the independent game developer character we will discuss and emulate in our class.
